In addition to Botox, we offer Xeomin and Jeuveau, which are as effective but come with some distinct advantages, such as a more quick onset of action. These neuromodulators are extremely effective in treating frown lines, horizontal forehead lines, and crow’s feet. They are less commonly used, but equally effective, in other areas of the face.

Dermal Fillers
BOTOX®
Botox is a highly effective FDA-approved treatment to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause the skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. Botox works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate-to-severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults. Results appear after about 5–7 days and last for approximately 4 months.

XEOMIN®
Xeomin is an alternative to Botox and is also used to improve the appearance of moderate-to-severe frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Both Botox and Xeomin use the same active ingredient that works identically in both treatments.
Due to differences in the formulations of the two products, a smaller volume of Xeomin is typically required to achieve similar results. Some studies have shown that Xeomin may last approximately 1–2 weeks longer than Botox.
Jeuveau®
Jeuveau in Cincinnati is the newest neuromodulator that has hit the market in 2020. Due to its newness, this treatment has been dubbed “#newtox” and is a favorite among millennials.
Jeuveau has the same ingredient as Botox but with a slightly different manufacturing process. It uses Hi-Pure technology to remove some of the unnecessary proteins that are in Botox, thus potentially making it safer. Additionally, Jeuveau has a slightly quicker onset of action, with patients generally seeing results within 2–3 days in comparison to Botox’s 5 days.
Combination Treatments
We have found that using Botox/Xeomin in conjunction with the TempSure Envi radiofrequency device yields the most effective results with the shortest amount of unnecessary downtime. At Limelight Laser and Medical Spa, we perform Tempsure Envi and Botox treatments in one session to both smooth the wrinkles and tighten the skin.

Revanesse Collection of Dermal Fillers Near You
One of the most prominent features of aging is facial volume loss. Dermal fillers are a simple and effective way to restore a more youthful appearance by adding volume to the face and lips. Revanesse is one of the newest and fastest-growing dermal fillers in the market right now and for a good reason. It has been shown, in clinical trials, to cause less swelling, less bruising, have similar longevity, and provide more product than other hyaluronic acid fillers.
Revanesse has been available in Europe and Canada for 15 years and just recently became FDA approved in the US. Revanesse is the only hyaluronic acid filler that has a 1.2 mL syringe size which has 20% more product than Juvederm. Revanesse Versa can be used in the nasolabial folds, cheeks, chin, and temples while Revanesse Lips is designed to add volume to the lips.
There are quite a few dermal fillers on the market today. We believe Revanesse is unique in that it is produced in small batches in a state-of-the-art North American facility. With less swelling and immediate results, Revanesse is a true lunchtime treatment. It is both quick acting and long-lasting.
In a clinical trial, nearly 70% of patients still saw improvement in the treated area after 12 months and an impressive 25% of them said that at that year mark, the area was still “very much improved.”

What is a neuromodulator?
Neuromodulators are medicines that inhibit the transmission of signals at a nerve junction. Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau are all neuromodulators because they block the release of acetylcholine at the muscle junction, leading to muscle relaxation.
How long do Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau last?
Typically, these treatments last for 3–5 months.
How can I be Sure My Face Will Not Look Frozen, Unnatural, or Overdone?
Our medspa in Cincinnati strives to give you a natural look by not overdoing the treatment, including our services for lip fillers near you. Botox injection is a technique-sensitive treatment and should only be administered by a licensed professional trained in facial anatomy. Therefore, Dr. Welden, who has years of experience in administering Botox, will be the person performing your treatment at Limelight Laser and Medical Spa.
Are Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau Natural?
Yes. All neuromodulators are made from bacteria that produce botulinum toxin. Botox is not considered to be a synthetic substance like dermal fillers and is, therefore, considered natural.
How Much do Botox, Xeomin, and Jeuveau Cost?
Our price for Botox is $12/unit. Xeomin and Jeuveau are both $11/unit. You can also take advantage of our Banking Botox program where you can buy and then bank a “bulk” amount of Botox, in advance, for use throughout multiple treatment sessions. This way, you get to save up to $2/unit.
Jeuveau has a program where you can save $40 on every treatment 4 times a year, often bringing the price below $10/unit.
